Any new solution or formulation needs to be effective as a disinfectant and cleaner (for one step efficacy) while improving safety for both for the environment and the consumer.

Glyclean® D combines efficacy, safety, and ease of formulation into one product that you can quickly get to market via sub-registration, substantially similar registration, or usage as a MUP product where you own the EPA or EU registration. PureTech Scientific is currently in the European BPR process with Glyclean® D.

PureTech Scientific is committed to conducting ongoing research and development to expand kill claims while also working on new and improved formulations for registration. Currently we are in the final stages of developing and registering a Glyclean Broad Spectrum Pre-Saturated Wipe formulation and updating and improving our Glyclean Toilet bowl Cleaner (EPA 71654-2) formulation. The journey to sustainable glycolic acid production is driven by the growing consumer demand for sustainable, nature-identical, active ingredients. PureTech Scientific is proud to lead the charge in producing sustainable Glycolic Acid at scale by evaluating our baseline environmental impact and migrating raw materials to more sustainable sources. Our Corporate Sustainability Team is working to validate raw material and power supply baselines as we undergo a shift to hit our near-term targets to source 50% of our raw materials from bio-based or upcycled sources.
